Membership Eligibility
Our community charter expands our field of membership to serve all who live, work, worship, volunteer, or attend school and businesses or other legal entities in Kanawha County, WV, and their family members. An initial deposit of only $25.00 in a Share Savings Account makes you a member of our credit union family and eligible for all other credit union services.
Membership Benefits
Being a member of MCWV is much different than being a customer of a bank. A member of a credit union is also an owner of the credit union. We are a not-for-profit financial cooperative; therefore able to offer higher interest rates for deposit accounts and lower rates for loans. While a member, you will always remain an owner with voting rights and will receive dividends. View all the products and services Members Choice offers.

Please note:Each Signer listed on a Business Account must follow membership account opening procedures, including a ChexSystems report being ran prior to account opening to determine account approval.
