Overdraft Protection
Overdraft Protection is an overdraft service that you may elect into which allows your Share Draft (Checking) Account to be linked to your Share (Savings) Account, so that if your Checking Account overdraws, the funds may be transferred from your Savings Account to cover the transaction in your Checking Account for a $5.00 fee per transaction. If you are elected into Overdraft Protection, Courtesy Pay will only take effect if funds are not available to transfer through your Overdraft Protection.
You may elect into Overdraft Protection by selecting the “opt in” option of the “Overdraft Protection” section of the Overdraft Services Elections Form and returning it to the credit union at your earliest convenience. You have the option to opt out of the Overdraft Protection service at any time by selecting the “opt out” option of the “Overdraft Protection” section of the Overdraft Services Elections Form and returning it to the credit union.

No action is required to opt in for Courtesy Pay; eligible users will automatically be enrolled. Please note: Not all members will be eligible for Courtesy Pay.

Courtesy Pay – ATM & one-time Debit Card Transactions
All financial institutions are required to obtain an opt in form from account holders in order for overdraft services such as Courtesy Pay to be available for ATM and one-time Debit Card transactions. If you wish for Courtesy Pay to also apply to your ATM and one-time Debit Card transactions, please select the “opt in” option of the “ATM and one-time Debit Card Transactions Authorization” section of the Overdraft Services Elections Form and return it to the credit union at your earliest convenience.
If you do not elect to opt in for ATM and one-time Debit Card Transactions by selecting the opt in option of the “ATM and one-time Debit Card Transactions Authorization” section of the Overdraft Services Elections Form, Courtesy Pay will not apply to your ATM and one-time Debit Card transactions. Reoccurring Debit Card transactions (e.g. monthly service payments such as Netflix) do not require a separate opt in and will be automatically included with Courtesy Pay.
Please note: If you do not qualify for Courtesy Pay per the guidelines listed within the Courtesy Pay section, the Courtesy Pay service will not apply to ATM and one-time Debit Card transactions even if you have selected the opt in option of the “ATM and one-time Debit Card Transactions Authorization” section of the Overdraft Services Elections Form.
You have the option to opt in or opt out of ATM and one-time Debit Card transactions at any time as part of your Courtesy Pay service by coming to the credit union and making your selection within the “ATM and one-time Debit Card Transactions Authorization” section of the Overdraft Services Elections Form.
